Blogging!!
I think blogging is a great way to express how your feeling and it’s a great chance to write about anything you want!!! Through blogging you can make new friends and just talk to people from other countries and schools. This year was the first time i ever started to write a blog!!! Our english teacher made us and i thought it would be boring but it actually turned out to be really fun!! It’s been really interesting talking to people from schools in Argentina and Brazil and learning about what they are doing at their schools! The only bad part about blogging is that i’ve only had about 10 comments over the whole semester!!!! But it’s been a great experience and it was really fun!!!! there’s only two weeks left of school!! Summer holidays!! Yay!!!
~Free Hugs Campaign~
Today in english our teacher got us to go onto youtube and watch the free hugs campaign video!! i really enjoyed the video and i think it was amazing how one person started the campaign and got 10,000 signatures on the petition to be able to give free hugs!!!
This video is travelling all over the world and when i was at a shopping centre last week there was a group of people holding up free hug signs!!

Almost the end of School!!!
Thankfully there is only another 42 days until the end of school!! I can’t wait for the summer holidays!!! I am so over school at the moment because it is so boring and im just sick of school and cant wait for the end of year break!!
Next year we’re not finishing school until 3.30pm so its going to make it even worse next and so much longer next year!!!
I only have to wait another 42 days and then im free!! Summer holidays!!!

In English at the moment we are writing sonnets and i decided to publish mine!! This is a sonnets that i wrote about sport!!!!
ThE aGe WrItErS fEsTiVaL!!!!
On Wednesday the 30th august, 2006, our class went on an excursion to the Age Writers Festival.
It was held at a thetre in Melbourne.
We learnt about Writers and about their books they have written.
The first speaker was Nick Earl. He was really funny. He spoke about his book: 48 shades of Brown and told us what it was about. He had also created a movie from the book which was preimiering on september 31st.
The second speaker was an Australian Muslim who wrote a book about muslim teenagers. her book called: Does my head look big in this? is about muslim girls who wear the hizabh on their heads. She also told us about her life as a muslim and the experiences she went through when she wore the hizabh on her head!!
It was a really good experience and the whole day turned out to be much more interesting and fun than i thought it would be!!!!
*_~Teachers~_*
I think teachers are a very important part of our life!!! If we didn’t have teachers we wouldn’t learn anything because there would be no one to teach us.
School teachers aren’t the only people that teach us new things in our life.Our family and friends also teach us new things. As we are growing up our parents help us to walk, talk, play, read, and when we are teens they try to teach us to be responsible and mature. They teach us how to make the right decisions in life and to accept the consequences if we do something wrong.
It’s not always your parents that teach you, you might learn from your friends or by watching your favourite sport star play. You also learn from people around you. Especially when we are young, we love to copy what other people do.
I think a good teacher is someone who will try to help you as much as possible, respect you and congratulate you when you do something well.
A good school teacher is someone who respects their students, tries to teach them as much as possible, treats everyone equally and has no favourites!!! I hate teachers who yell at you for being late to class and tell you how there’s no excuse for it but then next class they come ten minutes late and everything’s ok!!! I don’t think that’s fair!!
Teachers are very important in our life and without them we would learn nothing!!!!
My Weekends!!
Thank God today is friday!! the end of the week! no more school for 2 days!!!
Tomorrow i am going to Knox City at 9am for the 8 hour sale!!! There are jeans, tops and lots of cool clothes that are really cheap!
Then i have to play basketball in the afternoon!!
Next Saturday i am going to the footy!!! Richmond vs. Essendon!! I can’t wait.
Then on Sunday my family are going to Daylesford with my best friends family so we can go to the chocolate factory!!!
The chocolate is pure belgian chocolate and it tastes so good!!!

We are learning about all the different types of poetry and how to write them!!
My favourite types is a haiku!!
I like writing haikus because they are really easy to write and they are short!!!
